5.14 Worker's Compensation
All UW-River Falls employees, including student employees, are covered by Worker's
Compensation. The Human Resources office processes all Worker's Compensation
claims.
Individuals incurring an injury or illness in the course of their employment must
IMMEDIATELY report such injury or illness to their supervisor and to the Human
Resources office. The Wisconsin Worker's Compensation Act provides for the payment
of medical expenses and lost wages for employees injured by reason of their work and
provides death benefits for dependents.
