South Korean Delegation Visits UWRF

Jan. 29, 2010 – UWRF faculty and staff welcomed a delegation from Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea, to River Falls on Thursday. Dongguk University President Young Kyo Oh (left), UWRF mathematics Assistant Professor Alexandru Tupan (center), Tupan's daughter, Angie, and wife, EunYoung, (right) gathered at the reception. EunYoung is a graduate of Dongguk University. The delegation signed a student exchange agreement and a general memorandum of understanding in North Hall this morning to further explore collaboration opportunities between our institutions. The delegation from Dongguk University included President Young Kyo Oh; Professor Bong-Hyun Kim, director of University Communications; Professor Euiyon Cho, director, President's Office; Professor Il Chung Kim, Dean, Office of International Programs & Education; and, Sang Yoo Kim, deputy director, International Relations, Office of International Programs & Education.
