UWRF, Case IH, Value Implement To Sign Partnership Dec. 2

NOV. 23, 2009 | The University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences will announce a significant partnership with Case IH, headquartered in Racine, and Value Implement, with locations in Menomonie and Osseo, on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. on campus.

The event will be held in Room 167 of the Agricultural Engineering Annex, located directly behind and accessible through the Agricultural Science building. Area media are invited to this event, in which Case IH will announce the details of the partnership and the partners will sign the formal agreement. A reception will follow the announcement.

This exceptional partnership will greatly benefit CAFES students with access to the newest agricultural equipment and precision farming technologies available as well as the expertise of the CASE IH and the Value Implement teams.

Attendees will hear from Dale Gallenberg, dean of CAFES; UWRF Chancellor Dean Van Galen; Patricia Lardie, manager of government sales for Case IH North America; Jeff Rohrscheib, manager of Value Implement; Bill Connolly, UWRF lab farm director; and Dean Olson, professor and chair of the UWRF agricultural engineering technology department.
