UWRF Reps Visit Alumni at Fall Educator’s Conventions

OCT. 23, 2009 | (L to R:) Faye Perkins, interim dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, visited with about 70 UWRF alumni, including Mindy Peabody Hendrickson (’79) and Lucy Vue (’05), both educators in the Minneapolis Public School District, at the Education Minnesota Professional Conference held at the St. Paul RiverCentre Oct. 15-16. The CEPS and the office of Outreach and Graduate Studies had a booth at the event, where they raffled off door prizes provided by the OGS, Enrollment Services and the Alumni offices. The preceding weekend, UWRF representatives also attended the Northwestern Wisconsin Education Association (NWEA) Annual Conference at Memorial High School, Eau Claire.
