Radd Jazz Series Starts

OCT. 9, 2009 |The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Radd Jazz Series returns with a new line up that can be enjoyed by students and community members alike. The series was started as a memorial for the late John Radd, a UWRF music department faculty member. All concerts, held in the Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building, are free and open to the public.

Jazz is a distinct American art form,” says David Milne, a professor of music, director of the UWRF Jazz Ensemble and a performer in the series. “It’s a very democratic art form, and jazz inherits an American quality.”
