YMCA Mural Completed

MAY 15, 2009 | A grant from the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson has given college students the opportunity to create a mural at the St. Croix Valley YMCA Teen Center in Hudson. University of Wisconsin-River Falls student Rachael Anderson, a senior art education major from Wayzata, Minn., was the lead muralist. Assisting her were UWRF students Samantha Powell (pictured), a sophomore art education major from Butternut, and Megan Foster, a sophomore art education major from West Allis, and Christopher Kraetz, a student at the Art Institutes International.
