NxLevel Entrepreneur Course OfferedSEPT. 3, 2008--A 12-session intensive training program for entrepreneurs who want to start a business or expand their business to the next level will be offered by the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. "NxLevel(TM) Entrepreneurs" is Tuesdays, Sept. 23 to Dec. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Room 320, South Hall at UWRF. The instructor is Steve DeWald, who holds a Master of Management degree and is a C.P.A. and director of the SBDC at UWRF. Designed to encourage business expansion in the community, the course offers best practices for small business operations while producing a comprehensive business plan to guide expansion decisions and activities. Entrepreneurs will learn how and when to start business planning; how to organize and better manage their business; how to identify opportunities and market their business; how and where to find funding and capital; how to write a detailed, comprehensive business plan; and how to develop a network of small business support services. The UWRF SBDC provides confidential business counseling to those with a business idea and those who have started a business or are thinking of expanding their business.
