By Rachel Hafele
MARCH 28, 2008--The upcoming UW-River Falls production of "Look Back in Anger," running April 24 - 26 and May 1 - 3, tells the story of an angry young man and the troubles he puts his wife and friends through.
Written by John Osborne, "Look Back in Anger" tells the story of 25-year-old Jimmy Porter and his wife, Alison, and their life in a small apartment in the English Midlands. Along with the pair lives Cliff, Jimmy's business partner, and later Helena, Alison's snooty best friend. A chance confrontation leads to a twist in everyone's life. Guthrie Theatre actor Sean Dooley is the director of the show.
"Sean Dooley has an organic acting style," says cast member Kelsey Anderson. "He wants the actor to become one with the character, bringing in outside elements pertaining to the script that allow our characters to be more rich. He also believes in movement being a key element in character interaction."
