J-Term Registration Open
NOV. 16, 2007--Registration is now open for January term courses at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
A variety of courses, study tours and senior capstone classes are offered throughout the term, which begins Dec. 26 and runs through Jan. 26, 2008.
Students typically take J-term courses to graduate faster, lighten regular semester loads, to earn credits toward graduate degrees or if they are traveling abroad during regular semesters. Students from other colleges and universities who are staying in local residences between semesters may also take courses to earn transfer credits.
Courses offered during J-term include Spanish 101, study tours to Egypt, Vietnam, Italy, Ireland, Japan and Mexico as well as classes in all major disciplines among the colleges of Business and Economics, Arts and Sciences, Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, and Education and Professional Studies.
