Senior Show Set
OCT. 22, 2007--Three graduating seniors at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will show their art latest work at their B.F.A. exhibition in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building from Oct. 30 to Nov. 6.
Jennifer Becker, a fibers artist from rural North Dakota, has produced a collection of woven sculptures fashioned from recycled materials. Danielle Klatt, a ceramicist from Buffalo, Minn., will be featuring large-scale installations created of small hand-carved ceramic pieces. Jamaes Pauc, who is from Mukwonago, Wis., works in ceramics and glass, will be showing sculptural ceramic forms that are combined with furnace worked glass to create his own view of the natural world.
An opening reception will be Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Gallery 101. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. For more information contact the UWRF art department at 715-425-3266.
