UWRF Students Intern at Agriliance/Land O'Lakes
JUNE 22, 2007--Two University of Wisconsin-River Falls students have been selected as part of a group of 40 agriculture student leaders as summer marketing interns for Agriliance and Land O'Lakes Seed/Croplan Genetics divison.
Both Brooke Bergseng, daughter of Dean and Mary Bergseng of River Falls, Wis., and a marketing communications major, and Travis Rohl, son of Stephan and Peggy Rohl of River Falls and a business administration major with an agricultural engineering minor, will spend the summer with the St. Paul-based company.
Bergseng will work with marketing programs and web site design, and Rohl will learn agronomic management practices and sales.
"Employees are the most valuable assets to a business, and we like to place extra special emphasis on our intern programs," says Jim Tiedke, Agriliance director of retail sales and services."
Agriliance, an agronomy marketing join ventured owned by Land O'Lakes Inc. and CHS Inc., markets crop nutrients, crop protection products, and provides information management and crop technical services as well as markets seeds through the Land O'Lakes Croplan Genetics division.
