Center For Economic Research Seminars Begin
FEB. 5, 2007--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Center for Economic Research is sponsoring its Friday Seminar Series featuring professors from the College of Business and Economics.
The first seminar presentation, "The New Vietnam," is Feb. 9. Claire Kilian, a professor of management, and CBE student Stacy Stevenson, a junior from Princeton, Minn., will reflect on their experience and findings from a study trip to Vietnam during the January term of 2006-07.
A social and refreshment time will take place from 3 to 3:15 p.m. in 317 South Hall, followed by the seminar in 321 South Hall from 3:15-4:15 p.m. The seminars are free and open to the public.
Upcoming seminars by CBE faculty include Jude Rathburn on March 30 with "Teaching and Learning Pedagogy," Mary Tichich on April 20 with "An Empirical Study of Value-Based Management Measures, Stakeholder Satisfaction and Stock Prices," and Glenn Potts on April 27 with "Immigrant Support Network."
