Yair Dalal Comes to Perform at UW-RF

MARCH 31, 2006-- On Tuesday, April 11th at 7 p.m. Yair Dalal, a performer of Middle Eastern music, will be performing at the Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building on the UW-RF campus.

Dalal is a composer, violinist and oud player. Dalal creates his new Middle Eastern music by interweaving the traditions of Iraqi and Jewish Arabic music. He has a range of influences originating from such diverse cultural milieus as the Balkans and India.
Admission is free for students with a UW-RF I.D., $5 for general public, and $3 for other students.
