Seminar Explores Stock Values

MARCH 24, 2006--A presentation on financial and market variables, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin – River Falls Center for Economic Research, is April 7 at 3:15 p.m. in room 321 South Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Reza Rehgozar, a finance faculty member at UW-RF, will present "Are Share Values Good Measure of Company Performance?" The presentation investigates the relationship between stock prices of the Dow Jones industrial, transportation and utility indexes with several financial and market variables.

There will be a social and refreshment time from 3-3:15 in room 317 of South Hall.

The seminar is the third out of five spring 2006 seminars. Following Rahgozar will be Anthony Varghese presenting "Mathematical Modeling of Atrial Fibrillation due to a Gene Mutation" on April 21 and Hamid Tabesh presenting "Determinants of Choice of Business Major: A Case Study" on May 5.
