BUSINESS COLLEGE FORMS NEW ALLIANCE

NOV. 4, 2005--Those interested in enrolling in a basic business course can now do so   via the Internet through a new business course alliance offered by the the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Superior.

"The core courses are now offered online in each of the business functionalities," said Barbara Nemecek, dean of the UW-RF College of Business and Economics.

Online courses include marketing, management, economics, accounting, computer information systems and communications. They will be offered on a regular basis during the spring, summer and fall beginning during the spring 2006 term.

The courses will be offered at all three UW campuses, taught by a professor from one of the participating UWs. Anyone can register as long as he or she is enrolled at one of those universities.

When registering, the course will be listed as section 99. The tuition is on a per-credit basis with an additional technology fee added.
