Executive in Residence Speaker Discusses Investing

MARCH 11, 2005--Dean Junkans, chief investment officer for Wells Fargo
Private Client Services, will speak at UW-River Falls on April 4 as part
of the College of Business and Economics' Executive in Residence Program.
Free and open to the public, Junkans' presentation, "What are Investors
Saying, Thinking and Doing?," will be held in the River Room of Rodli
Commons from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Junkans will cover the current climate of investment opportunities and
investment trends.
An alumnus of UW-River Falls, Junkans graduated in 1981 with a bachelor's
degree in economics and went on to earn a master's degree in applied economics
from Purdue University. He became a chartered financial analyst in 1990.
Prior to working at Wells Fargo, Junkans was vice president and senior
portfolio manager of American National Bank's Trust Investments Group.
He has also served as a funds management officer for Farm Credit Services.
Junkans joined Wells Fargo in 1994 as a senior portfolio manager and a
team member in private client accounts. In his current position, Junkans
oversees investment management process and strategy for private client
services.
Additionally, Junkans serves on the board of directors for the UW-RF Foundation
as well as on the investment oversight committee of the Carlson Enterprise
Funds at the University of Minnesota.
