Symphonic Wind Ensemble to Perform
MARCH 4, 2005--The UW-River Falls Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform
its spring concert on March 10 at 8 p.m. in the Abbott Concert Hall in
the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building on campus.
The following selections will be featured: "First Suite in E Flat"
by Gustav Holst; "Third Symphony, Movements 3 and 4" by James
Barnes; selections from the musical "Phantom of the Opera" arranged
by Johan de Meij; "Irish Tune from County Derry" by Percy Grainger;
and "March Golden Eagle" by Alfred Reed. The ensemble is directed
by UW-RF music Professor Kristin Tjornehoj.
The concert is free and open to the public. For more information contact
