College of Business & Economics Names Student Advisory Board
NOV. 24, 2004--The UW-River Falls College of Business and Economics (CBE)
has selected its first student board to advise and support the college
and its mission.
Eight students were selected through an application process to represent
the CBE student body. The students range from freshmen to seniors and
have diverse majors offered by the college.
"I'm particularly pleased to announce the formation of CBE's first-ever
Student Advisory Board," said CBE Dean Barbara Nemecek. "This
board serves in an advisory capacity to the dean on key issues of the
college, in addition to representing CBE on campus and at off-campus functions.
We have an excellent cross-section of student representatives and I look
forward to working closely with them in supporting our college's educational
experience."
The Student Advisory Board provides students with the opportunity to meet
with administrators to discuss comments, questions or concerns. CBE's
student board meets directly with Nemecek each week. At these meetings
students are able to give voice to issues or events occurring within the
college and on campus.
Members of the board include:

double major, freshman.

with equine emphasis double major, freshman.
