UWRF's Yaeger, Carlson, Slinden, UWSP's Schmidt Honored
Four NCHA Players Named to All-American Team

Four NCHA players have been named to the 2003 AHCA JOFA All-American West Region team announced on Friday, March 21.

UW-River Falls had three players honored - goalie Marlene Yaeger, defenseman Lindsy Carlson and forward Ali Slinden. Also named to the team was UW-Stevens Point forward Jackie Schmitt.

Schmitt and Yaeger were named the NCHA's Co-Most Valuable Players earlier this year.

The NCHA had four of the six players named to the first team. There was no second team named.
