UWRF Starts NCHA Season With Two Wins

UW-River Falls swept two NCHA games at home last weekend and takes an early lead in the league standings.

UWRF beat Finlandia twice, 4-2 and 5-1 to earn four points. UW-Stevens Point stayed undefeated with a 3-2 overtime win at Lake Forest on Saturday. LFC tied in overtime with UW-Eau Claire, 2-2, to earn one point in two solid games.

Only four games are scheduled for this week. UWSP will be at St. Catherine and UWRF travels to Augsburg on Tuesday. LFC plays at Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday and Sunday.
