UW-Superior's Kegley Named NCHA
Women's Player of the Year

Feb. 28, 2005 UW-Superior forward Erin Kegley has been named the 2005 NCHA women's Player of the Year. Kegley, a 5-4, sophomore from Inver Grove Heights, Minn., had a second
strong season for the Yellowjackets. UWS finished second in the NCHA standings
and finished the regular season with a 15-6-2 record. Kegley tied for
second in the NCHA in scoring with six goals and 12 points in nine games
played. She played in 21 regular season games and led all NCHA players
by 11 points. She finished with 24 goals and 39 points. She finished with
six power-play goals and five game-winning goals. She had 15 assists,
second of all NCHA players in regular season games. She has been named
to the 2004 and 2005 All-NCHA first teams. In 2004 she was an AHCA All-American
when she scored 23 goals and had 40 points.
