Falcons Named to All-Region Teams
as of May 9, 2007

Falcon defender Julie Asselin and forwards Kate Pelinka, Sarah Carlson and Ashley Peterson have all been named to the NSCAA / Adidas All-American Central Region teams.

Asselin, Pelinka and Carlson were all named to the first team while Peterson was named to the second unit.

Asselin is the first Falcon to ever be named a soccer All-American after the 1997 season. The St. Cloud Tech High School product played in every game for the Falcons. The Falcons finished with a 12-6-1 overall record and placed second at the WIAC Tournament.

Pelinka was named to the team in 1998 and 1999. She led the Falcons in scoring in both seasons (18-4 in 1998, 20-7 in 1999). She is the school's leader in career goals (79) and is second in points (131).

Carlson was named to the team after the 2005 season. She led the team in scoring in 2005 with nine goals and 28 points. She is first in career assists (29) and third in career goals (37). She was named the WIAC's Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete.

Peterson, who played forward for most of the 2006 season, led the team in scoring with 17 goals and nine assists for 43 points. She scored five game-winning goals. In her four-year career she finished with 37 goals and 25 assists for 99 points.
