The 2006-07 Falcons

Scott Kelly 2005-06: Scott Kelly played in all 25 games and started 15 times. He averaged 4.2 points a game and he scored a season-high 11 points against Bethany Lutheran on Dec. 16. He shot 34-90 (.378) from the floor, including 15-53 (.283) from behind the arc. He averaged almost 20 minutes of playing time a game.

Tim Pearson 2005-06: Tim Pearson played in 17 games and started twice. In his start against Bethany Lutheran on Dec. 16 he exploded for a career-high 19 points shooting 7-9 from the field and 2-2 from three-point range. He had three assists and a steal in the contest. He averaged nearly 13 minutes of playing time per game. Pearson was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.

Ryan Thompson 2005-06: Ryan Thompson played in all 25 games and started 20 times. He averaged 6.1 points a game. He led the WIAC in assists (112) and had a career-high 10 against Superior. He scored a career-high 18 points against Simpson on Dec. 29. He was voted the team's Most Improved Player. Thompson earned a spot on the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.

Cory Rondeau 2005-06: Cory Rondeau played in all 25 games for the Falcons and averaged almost nine minutes per contest. His best game as a Falcon came against Eau Claire on Dec. 7 when he scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was 5-6 from the field in that game.

Jesse Elling 2005-06: Jesse Elling most extensive action came against Stout on Feb. 1 when he played 12 minutes, scored five points and grabbed two rebounds.

Erik Olson 2005-06: Erik Olson played in 21 of the team's games and averaged nearly three points a game. He averaged nearly nine minutes of playing time per contest and he scored in double digits in three games. His best scoring game was a 14-point performance against Stout on Feb. 1. He scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds against La Crosse on Jan. 18. He shot 14-32 (.438) from behind the arc.

Rory Trimbo 2005-06: Rory Trimbo played in four games and scored two points in his first collegiate game for the Falcons against Platteville on Dec. 10.

Maurice Baker High School/Personal: Maurice Baker spent the 2005-06 season as a red-shirt at Scottsdale Community College under former Falcon assistant coach Paul Eberhardt. He is the son of Ida and Terry Harts. Baker is majoring in sociology. |

Deonte Compton High School/Personal: Deonte Compton earned All-Minneapolis Conference honors the past two seasons. Averaged 14 points and six assists per game as a senior. He led the Tigers in assists and steals in his junior and senior campaigns. He was one of the team's captains in 2005 and 2006. Compton graduated with academic honors and participated in the city student government program. Compton is the son of Tabitha Compton. He is majoring in business management. |

Courtney Davis High School/Personal: In 2006 Courtney Davis was named to the Minnesota Community College All-Division and All-State teams. He averaged 19.1 points and eight rebounds a game in 2006. In 2004 he earned All-Region 13, All-Division and All-State honors. He attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee. He is the son of Patricia Davis. He is majoring in business. |

Jontae Koonkaew High School/Personal: At Apple Valley High School Jontae Koonkaew earned All-State Honorable Mention and All-Conference first team recognition. In 2006 he was the team's Most Valuable Player and captain and he set the record for points and free throws made in a single season. He was named to the Academic Honor Roll twice and was a member of the Congressional Youth Leaders of America. He is the son of Kanjai Koonkaew and John Barnes. Koonkaew is majoring in health & human performance. |

Nathan Robertson High School/Personal: At Forest Lake High School Nathan Robertson was an All-Conference performer twice as well as All-State Honorable Mention as a Senior. He finished his career as the school's all-time leading rebounder and third all-time leading scorer with 996 career points. Robertson was named to the academic All-State team and was a member of the National Honor Society. He is the son of Kathy and Mark Robertson. Robertson is majoring in biology. |

Jake Voeltz High School/Personal: Jake Voeltz had a great career at River Falls High School where he was a four-year varsity performer. He earned honorable mention All-State twice and earned All-Northwest and All-Big River Conference first team honors in 2005 and 2006. As a junior he led the Wildcats to a 23-2 record and a berth in the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament. He is the Wildcats all-time leading scorer with 1,306 career points. Voeltz was a Wisconsin Men's Basketball Yearbook preseason Fab Fifty selection. He was also chosen to play in the WBCA All-Star game. Voeltz graduated with academic honors. He is the son of Kathy and Monty Voeltz. He is majoring in health & human performance. |

Anthony Williams High School/Personal: At Park High School Anthony Williams was named to the all-conference team. He is the son of Cindy and Tony Williams. He is majoring in the pre-professional program. |

Nicholas Myers High School/Personal: Nicholas Myers helped lead Mesabi Community College to the 2004 Minnesota State Community College championship. He played high school basketball at Rosemount. He is the son of Pamela and Robert Myers. He is majoring in conservation. |
