Why did you choose to attend UWRF?
I chose to a attend UWRF because I was interested in changing majors from
mechanical engineering to my, and I thought UWRF had a strong math program.
Why did you choose to play football at UWRF?
After transferring from Michigan Tech I felt the football coaches here
had a great tradition and could help me play to the best of my ability.
Also, my older brother played football here so I got great insight on
the football program.
What is your most memorable high school football moment?
My most memorable moment was as a sophomore our team made it to the state
finals and it was one of my first times getting a lot of playing time
against a team that was suppose to beat us. We ended up winning the game.
What is your most memorable college football moment?
My most memorable moment playing football at UWRF so far would have to
be the win last week against Platteville. We were down 21-3 at halftime
but we came together as a team and won the game, 25-21.
List your individual and team goals for the 2004 season.
My team goals are to see improvement and get better every practice every
week. My individual goals are to help lead the team to a victory every
week. Also to help make other players better.
List your hobbies.
I like lifting weights and improving myself physically. I like playing
poker with the guys and watching action movies.
List your role models.
My biggest role model is my Mom. She has also showed me strength and tried
to support and provide for me the best she could. My favorite football
player would have to be Ray Lewis - his intensity is unmatched.
List your career goals.
My career goal is to find a job I enjoy doing.
Who have been your biggest football supporters?
My biggest football supporters, without question, are my Mom and step
dad Nick. They have hardly missed many of my games and my Mom is always
that one loud lady cheering on our team.
Coach John O'Grady comments:
"Nate has been a great addition to this class of seniors and to this
program. He has brought an intense and mature attitude to our defense
and the team in general. Nate gets it done in the class room, on the field,
and in our off-season preparation.
