Time Out With

Belinda Miller

Major:
Psychology

Why did you choose to attend UWRF?
It is a cheaper school with a great psychology department and I wanted to play soccer.

Why did you choose to play soccer at UWRF?
The coaching staff seemed so pleasant and especially after playing for a year I wanted to come back because of all the wonderful girls I met and got to play with.

What is your most memorable high school soccer moment?
My first varsity goal on senior parent’s night

What is your most memorable college soccer moment?

When Apryl got a bloody nose in Crookston and I had to go in as keeper for her. One minute after being in a penalty is called in the box on River Falls and a penalty kick is shot! (she hit the corssbar and I helped it over with the tip of my finger.)

List your individual and team goals for the 2003 season.
My individual goal for the season is to put in extra time and really crack down on my weaknesses to make them become my strengths. My team goal is that being that we have a young team we can work together to become one strong unit that unites and dominates.

List your hobbies.
Scrapbooking, singing, writing, having fun, anything outdoors.

List your role models.
My biggest role model is my brother. He was always strong through everything he did and never gave up.

List your career goals.
I hope to graduate with a BS or BA in psychology in three more years and then go on to get my masters to become a psychologist with the developmentally disabled.

Who have been your biggest soccer supporters?
My parents. They never missed a game growing up and if they did it was because they have a very good reason.
