Why did you choose to attend UWRF?
I chose to attend UWRF because of its reputation of excellence in education, its location, and because I felt I could contribute to the football program.

Why did you choose to play football at UWRF?
I chose to play football here because of the coaching staff and the offensive scheme. I felt very comfortable here during my visits.

What is your most memorable high school football moment?
My most memorable high school football moment is beating Hermantown 27-0 at home in the state quarter finals.

What is your most memorable college football moment?
My most memorable moment here at UWRF would have to be being part of the overtime victory over Eau Claire two years ago.

List your individual and team goals for the 2003 season.
My goal is to do my best to help our team realize its full potential this season.

List your hobbies.
I like to fish, hunt, bike, lift weights, and read.

List your role models.
Art Johnson, Cory Brasil, Adam Pulford, Joe Montana, Cal Ripkin Jr.

List your career goals.
I would like to teach and coach for a while in my career, but ultimately, I want to go to grad school and teach at the university level.

Who have been your biggest football supporters?
My biggest football supporters have been my parents and my brother.

“Tom has been a very positive role model for all of our young players. He has excelled in the classroom. He has relentlessly competed for the QB position. His approach to academics, sports, and life has impacted his teammates in a most positive way. Honestly, he has impacted my life also. As Coach Jim Valvand said, “Never, ever ever give up.” This is the example and the legacy that he will leave behind.”
