Major:
Horticulture
Why did you choose to attend UWRF?
I chose RF because of its location, size and the appropriate major
that fit with my carreer choices.
Why did you choose to play football at UWRF?
I originally attended UWRF for schooling because I didnt believe
I was college football material. My high school coaches and friends persuaded
me to try out my sophomore year. So I joined the lifting program in the
spring and started kicking again. It was a very wise decision.
What is your most memorable high school football moment?
Hands down, the most memorable moment was beating our rivals, Chisago
Lakes, twice my senior year to advance in the playoff bracket.
What is your most memorable college football moment?
During the 2001 season, we beat Eau Claire in double overtime, and
in that game I made a 40-yard field goal to send the game into the second
overtime.
List your individual and team goals for the 2003 season.
As an individual, I want to contribute to the team the best I can,
and not worry about my personal stats. As a team, we deserve a winning
season, for the time and hard work everyone has put into being a part
of this team.
List your hobbies.
I enjoy playing golf, kicking, and being with my friends and family.
List your role models.
I look up to my coaches, especially coach Tom Caflisch for his dedication
to the kickers of the team, and also my parents, brother and my grandma.
List your career goals.
Im working at becoming a golf course superintendent. To me,
theres nothing better than a 180-acre office full of turf grass.
Who have been your biggest football supporters?
My entire family: aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially my parents
and grandma.
Coach John O'Grady comments:
Adam has been a very consistent performer. This year we believe
he can handle all of our kicking duties. I think he can be one of the
best in the league.
