UWS's Ziemsski, Rodberg, SNC's Deitsch, Ziedins, UWRF's Kragthorpe Named to First Team; Ziedins Named Player of the Year
Eight NCHA Players Named to AHCA JOFA All-American Teams

Eight NCHA players have been named to the 2003 AHCA JOFA West All-American first and second teams.

UW-Superior goalie Nathan Ziemski and defenseman Steve Rodberg, St. Norbert forwards Jason Deitsch and Maris Ziedins and UW-River Falls defenseman Adam Kragthorpe were all named to the first team. Named to the second team were SNC defenseman Ryan Tew, UW-Superior forward Colin Kendall and UW-River Falls forward Evan Stensrud. NCHA players made up eight of the 12 players named to the two teams.

Kragthorpe was named for the third straight season and it is the second year in a row that Ziedins has been honored. Ziedins was also named the College Division Player of the Year. Kendall was named to the second team last year. Stensrud was earlier named the NCHA Player of the Year.

UWRF Coach Steve Freeman and St. Norbert Coach Tim Coghlin have been named as finalist for the College Division Coach of the Year award. The award winner will be announced in April.
