Neil Happel (Jr., Waverly, Iowa Waverly-Shell Rock HS) picked up the only Falcon points in a dual meet with UW-Eau Claire. He defeated Josh Frie, 9-6, at 184 pounds.

Larry Moen (Fr., Madison, Wis. East HS) placed fifth at 197 pounds at the North Country Invitational held Saturday at St. Olaf College. "Larry just wrestled very well," Coach Lindy Johnson said. He finished with a 3-2 record.

Dec. 10, 2001

Heavyweight Nate Demulling (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) placed sixth at heavyweight at the St. Cloud Invitational held Saturday. Demulling pinned his first opponent in 4:17. He then was pined in the second round in 4:09. He came back to win a 10-4 decision, but then lost a 3-0 decision in the match for fifth place.

Heavyweight Nate Demulling (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) finished with a 2-2 record in four matches last week. He defeated a Concordia opponent in overtime, 4-2 and took an 8-2 win over a Luther opponent.

Heavyweight Nate Demulling (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) won his match against Carleton and finished 1-2 at the Northern Open held Friday. Demulling took an 11-5 win over Carleton’s Cody Brown.
