Track
The Falcon 4x100 relay team of Kyrstin Bodenburg (Jr., Elk Mound,
Wis.) Amy Horazdovsky (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.), Jamie Leger (Jr.,
St. Francis, Wis.), and Nicole Pronchinske (Jr., Blair, Wis. Arcadia
HS) shattered the school record and ran a 49.5 at the Macalester Invitational.
"Since they're all juniors, it will be nice to have them around for another
year," said Coach Kristi Wagner.
Field
Cassie Arts (So., Woodbury, Minn.) jumped 9-7 and placed fifth in
the pole vault at the Macalester Invitational on Saturday.

Track
Jamie Leger (Jr., St. Francis, Wis.) placed third in the 100-meter
dash in 12.91 and 10th in the 200-meter dash in 26.82.
Field
Kady Kleven (Jr., River Falls, Wis.) won the high jump with a leap
of 5-4 at the Manitou Classic held Saturday.
April 16, 2001
Track
Candy Kroells (So., Cumberland, Wis.) had a personal best time of
19:17.88 in the 5,000-meter race at Eau Claire on Saturday. She won the
race and the time was her personal best by 20 seconds.
Field
Nicole Pronchinske (Jr ., Blair, Wis. Arcadia HS) had a great meet
for the Falcons at Eau Claire. She won the long jump with a leap of 19-1
1/4 which is the fourth-best jump in the NCAA Div. III to date this year.
The jump set a school record, a Simpson Field record and automatically
qualified Pronchinske for the NCAA Meet. "It was just a bomb of a jump,"
Coach Kristi Wagner said. She placed second in the triple jump with a
leap of 36-11 1/2 and second in the 200-meters in 26.8. She also won the
100-meters in 13.22 and was a member of the Falcon 4x100-meter relay team
that placed first in 50.47.
April 9, 2001
Track
Lisa Traxler (5-6, Jr, Menomonie, Wis.) placed first in the 5,000
meter run at the UWRF co-ed on Saturday.
Field
Nicole Pronscinske (5-10, Jr, Blair, Wis.) competed at the
UWRF co-ed, and placed first in three events. She won the long jump and
the triple jump competitions. She also took first in the 100 meter dash,
and she placed fourth in the 200 meter dash.

Track
Krystin Bodenburg (5-5, Jr, Elk Mound, Wis.) competed at the UW-Stout
Pentangular and won the 400 in 58.89. "This was a huge win for Kyrstin.
She beat La Crosse's Lisa Michealson who is a two-time WIAC champion and
record holder and she finished third at the NCAA Meet last year," Coach
Kristi Wagner said.

Track
Kyrstin Bodenburg (Jr., Elk Mound, Wis.) placed first in three
events at the Falcon Open held Friday at the Knowles Building. She won
the 300 in a school record time of 42.64. She also won the 200 in 27.08
and was a member of the Falcon 4x200 relay team that placed first in 1:51.95.
Field
Kady Kleven (Jr., River Falls, Wis.) automatic qualified for
the NCAA Div. III National Meet in the high jump at the Falcon Open held
Friday. She jumped 5-7 which also set a school record and a Knowles Building
record. She placed first.

Field
Kady Kleven (5-11, Jr, River Falls, Wis.) won the high jump competition
at the Eastbay Invitational held Saturday in Stevens Point. She jumped
5-5 3/4. "Kady had some great jumps and narrowly missed qualifying for
the NCAA meet," Coach Kristi Wagner said.

Track
Katie Checkalski (5-8, Sr, Weyerhaeuser, Wis.) won the 400-meters
in 1:05.09 in the Coca Cola Classic held Saturday. She was a member of
the Falcon 4x400 relay team that won in 4:17.1. She also placed fourth
in the long jump (4.72-meters) and fifth in the high jump (1.37-meters).
Field
Nicole Pronschinske (5-10, Jr, Blair, Wis., Arcadia HS) placed
first in the triple jump with a leap of 11.05-meters in the Coca Cola
Classic held Saturday. She was a member of the 4x200 relay team which
placed first in 1:52.95. She also placed second in the long jump (5.34-meters),
second in the 55 meters (7.88) and second in the 200 (28.68).
Jan. 22, 2001
Track
Courtney Eggum (So., Cannon Falls, Minn.) won the 200 intermediate
hurdles and placed fourth in the 55-meter hurdles at the Early Bird Open
hosted by the Falcons Friday at the Knowles Center. Eggum won the 200-meter
race in 31.49 and the 55-meter event in 9.6.
Field
Sarah Thull (So., Weyerhaueser, Wis.) won the shot put at the Early
Bird Open, the team's first meet of the season, Friday at the Knowles
Building. Thull won the event with a toss of 11.78-meters.
