Bodenburg, Falcon Track Team Earn Academic Honors

Kyrstin Bodenburg (Jr., Elk Mound, Wis.) and the entire 2001 Falcon women's indoor track team have earned academic honors from the United States Track Coaches Association. Bodenburg was one of several track & field athletes who was given all-academic honors by the USTCA. To qualify, individuals must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.250 (4.000 scale) and have participated in their NCAA Division indoor track and field championships. Bodenburg placed sixth at the NCAA Div. III Championships in the 400 meter final with a time of 59.22. She earned All-American honors for her sixth place finish. The Falcons were one of 22 NCAA Div. III teams to be honored. Teams are eligible for the honor if its members have a minimum 3.100 cumulative grade point average as a group. The Falcons had a 3.182 grade point average. |
