Singles: Amber Weissinger (So., Eau Claire, Wis. North HS), UWRF’s No. 6 player, earned a 6-4, 6-4 win against her Hamline opponent last week. "We’ve been working with her to become more offensive minded," Coach Lee Lueck said. "And against Hamline, when given an opportunity to attack net, she did and was more aggressive then in the past."

Doubles: The No. 2 doubles team of Mary Metzer (Sr., Coleraine, Minn. Greenway-Coleraine HS) and Meredith Verberne (Jr., Brookfield, Wis. Central HS) topped their Hamline opponents, 8-3. "They play an attacking style," said Falcon Coach Lee Lueck. "They are our co-captains. They are a successful doubles team because they have learned to attack the net. They are very offensive and don’t wait for the ball to come to them. That has helped them be successful at the No. 2 spot
