Swimmers Competing at WIAC Meet Feb. 17, 2001 The Falcon women's and men's swim teams placed in a tie for fifth and in six place at the WIAC Meet held over the weekend at UW-Oshkosh. For the women on the final day, Amber Wuollet placed sixth in the 1650 free in 18:50.37. Mia Erickson placed eighth in the 200 back in 2:17.72. In the 100 free Jessica Plumley placed seventh in 55.57. Katey Schneider placed seventh in the 200 fly in 2:21.76. For the men, Brandon VanVleet finished ninth in the 100 free in 48.57. Swimmers Competing at WIAC Meet Feb. 16, 2001 The Falcon women's and men's swim teams are both in sixth place after the second day at the WIAC Meet being held at UW-Oshkosh. The women have 174 points and the men 156. In Friday's action for the women, Jessica Plumley placed seventh in the 50 free in 25.29. Katey Schneider placed third in the 100 fly in 1:01.94. For the men on Friday, Brandon VanVleet placed eighth in the 50 free in 21.95 and fifth in the 200 free in 1:48.74. Saturday the Falcons swim in the final day of the WIAC meet. Swimmers Competing at WIAC Meet Feb. 15, 2001 The Falcon women's and men's swim teams are in fifth and sixth place respectively after one day at the WIAC Meet being held at UW-Oshkosh. The women have 74 points and the men 73. For the women, the 200 free relay team of Jessica Plumley, Kenzie Flanscha, Amy LaMott and Katey Schneider placed fifth in 1:44.88. Amber Wuellet placed 12th in the 500 free in 5:29.57. In the 50 free Plumley placed seventh in 25.4 and Schneider was 14th in 26.13. The 400 medley relay team of Mia Erickson, Amy Ohrmundt, Schneider and Plumley placed sixth in 4:19.38. For the men, the 200 free relay team of Brandon VanVleet, Jon Jarvis, Edwin Delgado and Adam Clasen placed fifth in 1:30.72.Bryant Hardy placed 14th in the 200 IM in 2:08,32. Jarvis placed 12th in the 50 free in 22.8. The 400 medley relay team of Jarvis, Hardy, Clasen and VanVleet placed sixth in 3:52.76. Saturday the Falcons swim against St. Thomas and Concordia-Moorhead in St. Paul. Action starts at 1 p.m. Swimmers Lose Dual Meets to UW-La Crosse Feb. 2, 2001 The Falcon women's and men's swim teams lost dual meets UW-La Crosse Friday night at the Karges Pool. The women lost, 56-39 and the men lost, 76-12. For the women, Michelle Gray won the 200 free in 2:10.1. Rae Ann Kreier won the 50 free in 24.0 and Jessica Plumley won the 100 free in 57.66. Kenzie Flanscha won the 200 back in 2:25.36 and Katey Schneider won the 200 fly in 2:27.55. For the men, Brandon VanVleet won the 50 free in 22.4 and he placed second in the 100 free in 50.46. Saturday the Falcons swim against St. Thomas and Concordia-Moorhead in St. Paul. Action starts at 1 p.m.
Swimmers Lose Dual Meets at UWSP Jan. 27, 2001 The Falcon women's and men's swim teams lost dual meets at UW-Stevens Point Saturday afternoon. The women lost, 153-65 and the men lost, 120-28. For the men, Bradon Van Vleet placed second in the 100 free in 50.85. For the women, Amber Wuollet won the 1000 free in 11:29.89 and Katey Schneider won the 100 fly in 1:04.12. The Falcons will next host UW-La Crosse on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Karges Pool.
Swimmers Split at St. Mary's Jan. 26, 2001 The Falcon women's team beat St. Mary's while the men lost to the Cardinals Friday night. The women won, 130-92, while St. Mary's won the men's meet, 100-75. For the women, Alison York won the 1000 free in 12:02.53. Amber Woulet won the 200 free in 2:07.4 and Jennifer Rudin won the 50 free in 28.58. Katey Schneider won the 100 fly in 1:03.66 and Michelle Gray won the 100 free in 1:00.55. For the men, Jon Jarvis won the 100 free in 42.06 and the 50 free in 23.53. Brandon Van Vleet won the 100 fly in 59.68. Bryant Hardy took first in the 200 IM in 2:12.8 and first in the 1000 free in 11:15.55. Saturday the Falcons will swim at UW-Stevens Point starting at 1 p.m.
Swimmers Drop Meets to Eau Claire Jan. 20, 2001 The Falcon men's and women's swim teams lost dual meets to UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon at the Karges Pool. The women lost, 52.5-30.5 and the men were defeated 55-18. For the men, Brandon VanVleet won the 50 free in 22.73 and the 500 free in 5:23. For the women, Katey Schneider won the 100 fly in 1:03.15. Amber Wuollet won the 500 free in 5:41.8. Kim Hart won the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.78. The 200 free relay team of Jessica Plumley, Kenzie Flanscha, Amy LaMott and Schneider won in 1:47.14. The Falcons will next be in action at St. Mary's on Friday with action starting at 6 p.m.
Swimmers Split With Luther Dec. 9, 2000 The Falcon men's and women's swim teams split in dual meets with Luther
College Saturday afternoon at the Karges Pool. The Falcons won't be in action again until Jan. 20 when they host UW-Eau Claire at 1 p.m.
Swimmers Compete at Titan Invitational Dec. 5, 2000 The Falcon men's swim team placed fourth and the women third at the Titan
Invitational held last weekend at UW-Oshkosh. Swimmers Lose at Minnesota State Mankato Oct. 28, 2000 Minnesota State Mankato beat the Flacon men's and women's teams in action Saturday in Mankato. The MSU women won, 139-114 and the men won, 114.5-88.5. For the men, Brandon VanVleet won the 50 free in 23.03 and Bryant Hardy won the 200 breaststroke in 2:31.97. Mike Andrews won the 500 free in 6:10.96 nad Jon Jarvis won the 100 fly in 1:01.5. Hardy also won first place in the 40 0IM in 4:50.97. For the women, Amber Wuollet won the 500 free in 5:41.78, Katey Schneider won the 100 fly in 1:04.71and Mia Erickson won the 400 IM in 5:12.33. The Falcons will next host Hamline on Nov. 10 at the Karges Pool with action starting at 6 p.m. |
