Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Gottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
scored three goals for the Falcons in the win at UM-Crookston. The
three goals gives her 33 for the season, which sets a UWRF and WIAC record
for goals in a season.

Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
scored three of the Falcon four goals last week, including both in
a 2-1 win at St. Catherine on Saturday. She now has 30 goals this season
which ties the WIAC record for season goals.
Defensive
Defender Amy Soud (Jr., Roseville, Minn.) played outstanding defensively
for the Falcons in two games last week. "Amy was dominant in her
area and won almost every ball that came into her area," Coach Sean
McKuras said.

Offensive
Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
was one of the teams leaders in the three matches played last week.
She scored five goals and had two assists in the teams three games.
She scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at Bethel. She assisted
on the teams only goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to Stevens Point.
Then she scored four goals and added an assist in the teams 7-0
win over Ripon on Sunday.
Defensive
Goalie Apryl Jennrich (Jr., Lino Lakes, Minn. Centennial HS) allowed
just two goals in three games last week. She recorded two shutouts. In
a 1-0 win at Bethel she made four saves and in a 7-0 win over Ripon she
made one. Her best effort was a 20-save performance against UW-Stevens
Point.

Offensive
Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
helped the Falcons gain two ties last week. In a 1-1 tie at Augsburg,
she scored the UWRF goal in the 67th minute. In a 2-2 WIAC tie at UW-Stout,
she scored both Falcon goals, in the 49th and 68th minute. She has scored
22 goals this year that sets a school record for goals in a single season.
The previous record was 20.

Offensive
Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
was involved in both goals as the Falcons took a 2-1 WIAC win at UW-La
Crosse on Saturday. Trailing 1-0 in the second half, Gilfillan assisted
on a Sarah Hoffmann goal in he 41st minute. Then in the 69th minute she
scored the game-winner on a breakaway. In the Sept. 29 report, Gilfillan
was sixth in the NCAA Div. III statistics in points (4.0 per game) and
tied for second in goals (2.0 per game).
Defense
Goalie Apryl Jennrich (Lino Lakes, Minn. Centennial HS) had another
strong game as the Falcons won a WIAC match at La Crosse, 2-1. Jennrich
finished with seven saves in the contest. She had a save on a penalty
kick in the first half. "She caught the ball on a shot to her right
side. It was a huge turning point in the game," Coach Sean McKuras
said.

Offensive
Forward Erin Pinewski (Fr., Ramsey, Minn. Anoka HS) played
key roles for the Falcons in two wins last week, including a 2-1 WIAC
win over UW-Oshkosh on Saturday at Ramer Field. Pinewski assisted on both
of the Falcon goals in the win over Oshkosh. She was involved in four
of the teams five goals against Concordia when she scored two and
assisted on two others.
Defensive
Goalie Apryl Jennrich (Jr., Lino Lakes, Minn. Centennial HS)
made several key stops as the Falcons won two games last week, including
a 2-1 WIAC win over UW-Oshkosh. Against Oshkosh she made 20 saves and
allowed just the one goal. In the win over Concordia she made eight saves.

Jenn DeMartino (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. Park HS) scored three
goals in the teams win over UW-Superior on Saturday. "Jenn
made the most of her opportunities on Saturday scoring three second half
goals giving a boost to the offense," Coach Sean McKuras said. Her
second goal came on a penalty kick.
Defense
Caroline Benson (Sr., Roberts, Wis. River Falls HS) provided the Falcons
a good defensive game for the Falcons in the teams win over UW-Superior.
"Not only did Caroline play solid defense in the shutout, but also
helped the team's offense with her distribution down the left side of
the field," Coach Sean McKuras said.

Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy
HS) scored five of the teams nine goals this week. She scored
all three in the teams win at Platteville on Saturday and came back
to add two more in a win at Wisconsin Lutheran.
Defense
Goalie Apryl Jennrich (Jr., Lino Lakes, Minn. Centennial HS) made
several key saves in the teams three games last week. She made 23
in a 4-2 loss to Eau Claire, four in a 3-1 win at Platteville and six
in a 4-1 win at Wisconsin Lutheran.

Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
started the season on a strong note. She scored five goals in the three
games. She scored two in the win over Hamline and three in the win over
St. Marys.
Defensive
Libbi King (Fr., Green Bay, Wis. East HS) helped the Falcons at both
ends of the pitch last week. She scored goals against Hamline and St.
Marys. "Libbis helped us up front and shes given
us a physical game defensively," Coach Sean McKuras said.
