Offensive
Midfielder Molly McClanahan (Fr., St. Anthony, Minn. St. Anthony
Village HS) helped the Falcons both offensively and defensively against
Concordia-St. Paul. "Molly gave us some very good play in keeping
the attack going offensively and stopping Concordia when they had the
ball," coach Jeff Hopkins said. Unfortunately for the Falcons, McClanahan
broke her leg with about 15 minutes to go in the game and will be out
the rest of the season.
Defensive
Defender Amy Soud (So., Roseville, Minn.) played
a solid defensive game for the Falcons in the tie with Concordia-St. Paul.
"Amy kept things together for us whenever Concordia had a scoring
chance. She played a solid game throughout the entire contest," coach
Jeff Hopkins said.

Offensive
Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy
HS) helped the Falcons to two wins last week, including a WIAC win
at Superior. Gilfillan scored three goals in each game to lead the Falcon
offensive attack. She leads the team in scoring with 10 goals this year.
Defensive
Megan Diethelm (Sr., Rogers, Minn. Elk River HS) was the teams
defensive leader in the Falcons two shutout wins last week over Viterbo
(4-0) and Superior (7-0). Diethelm helped lead the Falcon defense in allowing
Viterbo just seven shots on goal and Superior only four.
Sept. 17, 2001
Offensive
Forward Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. New Life Academy HS)
scored the Falcons only three goals this week. She came through over
an injury and worked hard offensivly. Two of her goals helped the Falcons
beat WIAC oppenent UW-Platteville.
Defensive
Defender Caroline Benson (Jr., Roberts, Wis. River Falls HS)
worked extra hard in all three of last week's games. "She stepped
up and followed through on everything she did," said Falcon coach
Jeff Hopkins.
Sept. 10, 2001
Offensive
Forward Emily Rodgers (Fr., Richfield, Minn.) had some excellent
scoring chances and played well offensively for the Falcons in two games
last week.
Defensive
Goalie Apryl Jennrich (So., Lino Lakes, Minn. Centennial HS) had two
solid games for the Falcons last week. In the two games she made 16 saves
in a 3-2 overtime loss to Bethel and 13 in a 3-0 loss to Whitewater.
Sept. 4, 2001
Offensive
Foward Sarah Hoffman (Fr., Cumberland, Wis.) scored the game-winning
goal and the final goal of the game on Saturday against Knox College to
help the Falcons to a 4-0 victory.
Defensive
Megan Diethelm (Sr., Rogers, Minn.) set the pace for the game against
Knox on Saturday. She worked hard defensivly. She showed great leadership
the entire game, according to coach Jeff Hopkins.
