Falcon defenseman Adam Kragthorpe has been named to the AHCA JOFA West Region first All-American team for the third straight year. Forward Evan Stensrud was named to the second team. The team is selected in a vote by the West Region coaches.

Kragthorpe, who was earlier this year named to the All-NCHA and All-WIAC teams, finished the season with four goals and 12 assists for 16 points. He scored three power-play goals. Kragthorpe is recognized as the premier defenseman in all of Western hockey. He plays regularly in power play and penalty kill situations and was one of the team’s captains this year. He was named the NCHA’s Co-Most Valuable Player in 2001 and was named to the All-NCHA team for four straight seasons.

Stensrud was named to the second team after being named to the first All-NCHA team this year and he was recognized as the NCHA’s Player of the Year. Stensrud, who was given honorable mention to the 2001 All-NCHA team, was the team's leading scorer with 39 points. He has scored 12 goals and a team high 27 assists. He scored three power-play goals and one game-winner.

Falcon Coach Steve Freeman was named as a finalist for national Coach of the Year honors. The Coach of the Year will be named in April. Freeman earlier was named the NCHA Coach of the Year.
