Hall, Basham Named to First All-WIAC Team
Larson, Hayward, Palas, Gray, Kennedy Also Honored

Halfback Taylor Hall (Sr., Shell Lake, Wis.) and defensive end
Nick Basham (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) have both been named to the All-WIAC
first football team picked by the league coaches. Hall led the Falcons in rushing this year. He carried the ball 113 times for 748 yards and scored six touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 204 yards. Basham led the team with 11.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss. He had four quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries and a fumble forced. He finished with 21 solo and 17 assisted tackles. Larson finished with 21 solo and 23 assisted tackles. He was second in tackle for loss with 13.5 and in sacks with five. He forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles. Hayward missed the final three games with an injury but still finished with 18 solo and 23 assisted tackles. He had three sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. Palas made 23 solo and 19 assisted tackles. He had two tackles for loss. He led the team with six interceptions, two blocked kicks and nine passes defended. He returned two interceptions for touchdowns. Gray finished second on the team in tackles with 36 solo and 21 assists. He had one sack and five tackles for loss. He had one interception and three passes broken up. Kennedy was third on the team in tackles with 23 solo and 39 assists. He had 1.5 sacks and six tackles for loss. He broke up one pass. |
