Falcon Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Oct. 16, 2000

Candace Kroells (So., Comstock, Wis. Cumberland HS) was the third Falcon to cross the finish line at the Mt. Senario Invitational. She finished the 5,000-meter race in 23:15 and placed sixth overall. "She's been out most consistent runner all year," Coach Don Glover said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oct. 9, 2000

Brenna Hogan (Jr., Lindstrom, Minn. Chisago Lakes HS) placed 163rd in 20:50 at the Pre-Regional meet held Friday. Her time over the 5,000-meter course was 1:26 faster than her previous personal best. She was the fourth Falcon to cross the finish line and there were 352 runners in the race.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sept. 25, 2000

Lisa Traxler (So., Menomonie, Wis.) battled back from being sick all week to lead the Falcon women at the Griak Invitational Saturday. She was the first Falcon across the finish line in 19:47 over the 5,000-meter course. She placed 71st overall of the 271 runners competing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sept. 18, 2000

Marian Christen (Fr., Sauk Center, Minn.) was the first Falcon to cross the finish line in a dual meet against Superior. She finished the 5,000-meter course in 20:55 and placed fifth overall. "Marian's time was a 2:16 improvement from last week's race at UM-Duluth," coach Don Glover said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sept. 11, 2000

Felice Birmingham (So., Fish Creek, Wis., Gibraltar HS)
was the top finisher for the Falcons at the UM-Duluth Invitational held Saturday. She finished the 5,000-meter course in 31:34 and placed 32nd overall.
