Falcon basketball players Darcy Olsen (So., Rosemount, Minn.,
Eastview HS) and Erin Effle (So., Rochester, Minn., John Marshall
HS) have both received honorable mention to the 2003 All-WIAC team.
Effle, a forward, received honorable mention to the 2002 team. She led
the Falcons in scoring this year averaging 12.8 points a game. She finished
eighth in scoring in the WIAC. She also led the Falcons averaging seven
rebounds a game. She was seventh in the WIAC in rebounding. Effle finished
10th in field goal shooting (.420).
Olsen, a guard, was second on the team in scoring with a 10.1 points per
game average. She led the Falcons in assists (90) and was second in the
WIAC in that category. She was third in steals for the Falcons (34).
