| | | Details | Successful employee wellness programs from across the nation will be critically analyzed in case studies to provide a solid understanding of the importance of workplace involvement in health. Return on investment will be assessed in all it facets, including health care costs, disability, sick time, retention, recruitment, reputation and employee ?presenteeism? (engagement). Strategic planning guided by disease management versus population wellness theories will be contrasted. Employer needs, organizational culture, environmental policy and procedures will be assessed for impact (positive and negative) on employee wellness program outcomes. Evaluation of employee wellness programs will consider client needs and wants, best practices in program design and implementation, and human diversity factors that affect participation. (F, Sp). |
