| | | Details | Strategically designed and administered health care plans are essential for worksites to attract and retain staff and manage costs. This course provides a solid introduction to the basic elements of employee benefits and how health plans and wellness programs fit into the overall benefit scheme. Students will learn how to evaluate health and wellness plans for return on investment [ROI], work with providers to design effective options, and implement management strategies to meet bottom-line and employee wellness goals. Prerequisites: HWM 320 Health and Medical Terminology; HWM 430 Population Health; HWM 350 Applied Research Methods. (F, Sp). |
