| | | Details | Student will learn to apply basic engineering principles to existing and emerging technologies, thus providing a better understanding of energy production, consumption, and environmental impact, and examining how these principles relate to sustainable management. Topics cover a wide range of energy systems including nuclear, fossil fuels, wind, solar, biofuels and biomass. Prerequisites: Introduction to Chemistry and college algebra or equivalent, and must be admitted to SMGT major or have Program Director consent on space available basis. (F, Sp, SS) |
