This course introduces the key concepts of English phonetics and phonology in the context of teaching pronunciation to non-native speakers of English. Students will gain an understanding of how they can use their knowledge of English speech sound production, and stress and intonation patterns in teaching young and adult learners. Prerequisite: Junior standing. (F or Sp)
