| | | Details | This course is designed to prepare students to teach health education as a part of a Comprehensive School Health Education program. Students will design lessons as well as practice and reflect on strategies and methods for teaching health education. Although instructional techniques are emphasized, other professional considerations (e.g., professional growth, professional organization and publications, resources, use of technology) are incorporated in the course structure. Field experience required (25 hours). Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education.(F) |
