DetailsThis course acquaints students with the theory and background for using developmentally appropriate practices with preschool children. Students study effective methods and materials to develop concepts, skills and values in early childhood settings, including 4-K. Pre-practicum experience (12 hours) provides opportunity to observe and work with children and families while under the guidance of a cooperating teacher and with instructor consultation. Prerequisite: TED 155 and 225. Materials fee required. (F, Sp, SS)
