DetailsThis is a writing intensive course designed to develop an understanding of psychological theories related to education. The focus includes development, views of learning, instructional applications of learning theory, concepts of motivation and implications for motivating students, classroom management, individual differences and evaluation. In addition to reading about and discussing these theories, students reflect on what they are learning through analyzing case studies. Prerequisites: 2.5 GPA or higher, TED 120, AGED 201 or P ED 161, department consent. Field Experience: Required 25 hours outside lecture. Materials fee required . (F,Sp)
