Students explore mental health development and the prevention of and interventions for mental health challenges in children and youth. Issues such as suicide, anxiety, and anger management are considered. Students gain knowledge and skills with assessment strategies and using evaluation data to develop services and evidence-based interventions. Prerequisites: second-year student or consent of instructor (Sp)
