| | | Details | This course applies the methods of women?s and gender studies pedagogy and feminist critical thinking to gender issues in science. The course includes elements of psychology, sociology, history of science, linguistics, education, biology, anthropology, LGBTQI studies, and cultural studies. Students will learn how science is conducted and vetted and understand the major scientific contributions of persons discussed. Emphasis is placed on how STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and gender are perceived and conducted in different cultures. Sp; SS as funding permits. |
