DetailsStudents will participate in an analytical review of the contributions of major rhetorical figures, both practitioners and theoreticians, during important historical periods. Beginning with the works of rhetoricians in classical Greece and Rome, the course will include medieval English and Continental figures and will conclude with a consideration of contemporary rhetoricians.(Sp, every 3rd year)
