DetailsThis course explores the relationships between lifestyle, health, and disease, emphasizing the importance of culture and social structure. Global and national social epidemiology, emergent and re-emergent infectious disease, indigenous healing, and health care delivery systems are a major focus of this course. Prerequisite: SOCI 100 or consent of instructor. (Alternate years)
